Lori English

Lori Joins Fortress Tax with over 25 years of experience in tax planning and preparation, tax reduction strategies and financial statement preparation and review. She has extensive experience with maximizing tax benefits for individuals by taking advantage of Pass-Through Entity structure and is a multi-state tax specialist. 

While Lori has spent the vast majority of her career in Public Accounting, she spent some time leading Accounting Departments for corporations with annual revenues in excess of $500,000,000.  During that time, she built effective teams and implemented cost savings strategies as well as leading annual audits.  While she enjoyed that part of her professional experience, her true calling has always been Tax and she was very happy to return to the public side of accounting world.

Lori is a graduate of The University of South Alabama and holds an active CPA certification.  In her spare time Lori enjoys spending time with friends and family, hiking and running slow 5k’s.
